Where am I at ... in Jan_11

We have now officially entered the ‘tweens’ of the new century and life is looking decidedly different. I’m pregnant. The sea-monkey is due at the end of April – and I’m guessing this will impact on my work somewhat. I’ll be going on maternity leave from RMIT from March until the end of the year.

Am currently cutting a little show for ABC Radio National’s 360documentaries – just a 10 minuter - it’s based on an entry into the My Tribe participatory project I ran last year and is a bit of a portrait of a contributor. It’s called Yusuf and the Punjab Lions and should go to air in April.

Despite trying to disentangle myself a bit from work – I’ve been roped into producing and re-designing the My Tribe project for the launch of the redesigned ABC Pool. It was just too exciting a gig to turn down – the new Pool has great potential to play with and having run the project for the past year – I have lots of ideas about how to improve it… I’m hoping that this version of the project will wrap up my postgrad research into social and participatory project production.

This idea of having a baby still doesn’t seem quite real – though my ever decreasing wardrobe tells me different.

my wife bought two some large overalls and wore them all the time with different shirts underneath. worked for her. she's 5'9, build of a female water polo player, not easy to get reasonably priced maternity clothes when that size

congrats on the baby

thanks observer. Only 4 weeks to go now and feeling very much like an over-ripe piece of fruit!
